Wall Hanging Scroll - Footprints

A handcrafted Scroll for wall hanging. Screen printed with black ink onto tan-coloured synthetic leather, the scroll has a wood frame with a jute rope attached for hanging. When unrolled, it measures 25x70cm. 

The text printed on the scroll is the famous poem Footprints in the Sand: 

One night I had a dream. I was walking along the beach with the Lord. 
And I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand: but I noticed that many times along the path of life there was only one set of footprints. And I realized that it was at the very lowest and saddest times in my life. 

I asked, “Lord, You said that once I decided to follow You, You would walk with me all the way. But during the most troublesome times in my life, there is only one set of footprints. I don’t understand why You left my side when I needed you most.”

The Lord said, “My precious child, I never left you during your time of trial. Where you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried You.”  

At the bottom of the scroll is the Bible verse Deuteronomy 31:8: "The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you. He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged."
